A Sneak Peek of Your Role 🔭 

This job, and the team at Instinct, is remote.

As a Product Marketing Manager at Instinct Science, you will develop and execute marketing strategies to drive product adoption, engagement, and retention. You’ll collaborate with product, sales, and customer success teams to ensure cohesive messaging, effective go-to-market strategies, and strong positioning. While prior experience in the veterinary industry isn’t required, curiosity and a commitment to learning the domain are essential.This role requires strategic thinking with hands-on execution, all in service of delivering value to our customers.

What You’ll Do 🐱‍💻

  • Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and emerging opportunities. 
  • Analyze competitor positioning and product offerings to inform our strategic differentiation.  products and positioning to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Develop detailed buyer personas and customer journey maps.
  • Craft compelling, benefit-driven messaging that communicates product and feature value and aligns with our brand voice. 
  • Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new product launches and feature updates, leveraging email campaigns, blog posts, in-app messaging, and webinars. 
  • Collaborate with product management, sales, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and successful execution. 
  • Equip the sales team with tools, training, and sales enablement materials, including battle cards, product guides, and competitive analysis. 
  • Host regular training sessions and webinars to keep Customer Success, Sales, and our Customers informed about product updates. 
  • Foster strong relationships with key customers to gather insights and develop success stories and testimonials that highlight the impact of our products. 
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of product marketing initiatives.

Who You Are 🐱‍💻

  • Must Haves:
    • 3+ years of Product Marketing Management experience in an entrepreneurial, early-stage start-up environment, ideally in SaaS/Cloud software.
    • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, with a "roll up the sleeves" attitude
    • Customer-first mindset, focused on empathizing with customers’ problems and aligning the team around their use cases.
    • Creative problem solving skills, ability to work with ambiguity, and manage multiple problem areas in parallel.
    • Focus on outcomes over outputs, setting meaningful goals for your team aligned with company objectives.
    • Exceptional written and interpersonal communication skills. You focus on the “why” and share the right level of context whether you’re talking to your engineering team, a customer, or an executive. 
  • Nice-to-Haves:
    • Experience in the veterinary field would be a bonus.

Base Compensation range for this role is $130,000 - $150,000
