A Sneak Peek of Your Role 🔭
As the People Ops Generalist/Recruiter at Instinct, you'll be the glue that holds together team-focused initiatives and processes. You'll oversee the operations of the entire employee lifecycle, from recruiting and onboarding to offboarding. Your role requires meticulous attention to detail and strong prioritization skills, as you'll own recruitment, help manage benefits relationships, support performance management, and aid in addressing training needs while being the primary point of contact for team member inquiries.
What You’ll Do 🐱💻
- Ownership of talent acquisition for the team, including optimization of applicant tracking system, proactive sourcing for candidates, application review, acting as primarily screener, and coordination of interview and offer process
- Manage data entry into all systems and tools, as well as support implementation of any new people systems as they arise
- Responsible for onboarding and offboarding of team members, while collaboration cross-functionally to ensure processes run smoothly
- Assist in project managing and communicating annual initiatives, including performance appraisals, engagement surveys, company off-site, and others as they may arise
- Maintain internal wiki for People Ops team, and aid cross-functionally to ensure that up-to-date information can be readily found and shared
- Monitor internal communication channels to ensure all questions, concerns, and inquiries from team members are responded to promptly and accurately
- Partner across People Ops, Finance, and Operations to ensure that anything pertaining to our people is addressed and handled appropriately
Who You Are 🐱💻
- Must Haves:
- 2-3+ years of experience in both human resources and recruiting
- Strong, almost annoying, attention to detail
- Time management pro; you take pride in completing tasks ahead of deadlines
- Ability and willingness to context switch on a dime
- Proactive; can anticipate needs and jump on them
- Top notch verbal and written communication
- Exposure to, and experience with, HRISs and recruiting tools
- Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with tools including: Deel, JazzHR, LinkedIn Recruiter, Notion, Asana, Checkr, and Guideline

Base Compensation range for this role is $65,000 - $85,000
