A Sneak Peek of Your Role 🔭

The Account Manager will be a driving force behind our revenue growth and customer retention efforts. In this role, you’ll take charge of key customer relationships, spurring renewals, uncovering upsell opportunities, and spearheading expansion initiatives. You'll craft persuasive presentations, design dynamic customer campaigns, and ensure flawless communication with both customers and internal teams. Your contributions will have a direct and lasting impact on customer satisfaction and loyalty.

What You’ll Do 🐱💻

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for key customers, fostering strong relationships and ensuring customers derive maximum value from Instinct
  • Identify and execute strategies to drive revenue growth through upselling and  cross-selling opportunities
  • Oversee the renewal process for key customers, ensuring timely contract renewals and identifying opportunities for expansion
  • Handle all customer communications with professionalism and a focus on building long-term relationships
  • Monitor customer performance, track key metrics, and report on the health and revenue potential of the customer portfolio
  • Proactively address and resolve customer issues, ensuring high level of satisfaction and preventing customer churn
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our customers remain raving fans of Instinct
Who You Are 🐱💻

Must Haves:

  • Proven ability to drive revenue growth through strategic upselling, cross-selling, and contract negotiations
  • Strong skills in building and maintaining long-term customer relationships, with a focus on understanding and meeting customer needs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Proactive nature; anticipating how to best serve and maintain our customers at every step in their journey
  • Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple customers
  • 3+ years in account management, sales, or related role, with a focus on driving revenue growth and managing key customers

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Proficient in Google Suite tools (including Google Sheets), and CRMs (Hubspot or Salesforce) 
  • Prior work experience in SaaS and/or Veterinary fields
  • Understanding of veterinary terminology and basic veterinary medical knowledge
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience

Base Compensation range for this role ranges from $75,000 - $100,000. This role will also include a variable compensation component.
